WFWP UK -Art workshop in Cleeve House

After the first successful art workshop in South London in May this year, Women’s Federation For World Peace organised a second art session for young artists on the afternoon of 24th of June in Cleeve House, Wiltshire as part of the Family Festival hosted by the Family Federation for World Peace.

Run by Ala Zubovskis, manager of the Artists for Peace project and by talented artist Beatriz Lozano, the art workshop was well balanced as a quiet activity after an outdoor fun-filled sport games and an amazing magic show. It was well attended and enjoyed by more than 20 children from 4 to 17 years old, who were able to focus for a long time expressing their creativity on a topic of their choice. Parents pleased with their children's efforts and success asked about the next event. The next art session will be organised in Cleeve House for children attending a family camp at the end of July.

The aim of such art workshops is to promote the Artists For Peace project that runs an annual art contest for children from 5 to 16 years old. By taking part in the contest, children will gain more confidence, develop hand-eye coordination and creativity, and most importantly will unleash their inner artist for a chance to win amazing monetary prizes.
