WFWP Sweden and Denmark participated in the Nordic gathering organized by Initiatives of Change in the island of Als located in the very southern part of Denmark. The theme: Living Together- Across cultures, ( on family, community and nation levels) was explored and discussed by the 90 participants aging from 6 months old to 97 years from 2nd to the 6th of August . In an inspiring and creative environment we could challenge concepts and ourselves and became close friends. Everyone belonged during the stay to small family groups where trust and life stories were shared. In lectures participants from Greenland, Russia, Finland and Somalia shared their experiences of crossing borders both physical, mental and emotional borders.
