Building bridge across generations and staying healthy through physical activities.
We have twice organized paddling skills under the auspices of WFWP Norway. The aim is to build relationships between generations gathered around a positive activity. The participants experienced appropriate challenges and learned new skills.
Similar events were held in July and August.
Participants were in the age group from 70 to less than a year old, received a welcome, introduction to paddling and safety, distribution of equipment and help to choose a kayak.
The bbq was lit so that whoever wanted to could use it. Otherwise everyone brought food and drink for themselves and their families. WFWP provided two experienced instructors to ensure the safety of the participants.
In July, 24 people aged 70 and children aged 4 participated
In August, 33 people aged 70 and children under one year participated.
