WFWP Italy - HE AND SHE Conference

HE AND SHE is the theme of the conference organized by *WFWP and UPF which took place on March 15th 2025 at the headquarters of Peace Embassy.

After welcoming the numerous guests, the president of WFWP Italy, Elisabetta Nistri, illustrated the aims and objectives of the

WFWP, also referring to the deep desire that

animated the founders: to inspire women to make their contribution to peace with the peculiar feminine characteristics. She then reported an

overview of the most important activities carried out in 2024 in Italy and the themes goals for 2025 at the international level,

such as: Women peace and security, Collaboration between female leadership for peace, Commitment to climate and environmental sustainability, Global Development and humanitarian services.

Dr. Giuseppe Calì, referring to the myths of the past and the interpretations of important philosophers and psychologists,

expresses the concept that each of us has a male and female part within himself, which he should learn to recognize and harmonize in order to be able to create harmonious relationships with others and with his partner.

Animus and soul can enrich each other and become complementary as Light and Shadow, Conscious and Unconscious. “When I can understand the other, I can also welcome and help him/her.” The speech focused on the peculiar characteristics of Animus and Anima and on the fact that when these remain misunderstood,

discrepancies and conflicts that also turn into social problems are reflected in society.
