WFWP Finland - International Women’s Day Prayer Forum -Accelerate Action

On International Women’s Day, on March 8 th , 2025, AFAES organization, Africans and

African European Association, with the leadership of Fatima Usman arranged a powerful

gathering and multicultural event for women of faith under title Women of Faith and

Leadership celebrating the International Women’s Day.

Women from diverse backgrounds came together at AFAES Office for networking, being

empowered by purpose, unity and prayers during the event. Prayers and music were

intertwined with meeting each other and dancing around. What a spirit of faith and unity

came out. Women Federation singers presented two songs.

Päivi Yoshizumi from WFWP was one of the invited speakers. She spoke on the topic My

Prayer and the World explaining how the year 2025 is very special, and for WFWP as the

founder Mother Moon, Holy Mother Han will preside an opening of Sanctum in Korea,

where God can substantially reside as explained by Holy Mother Han. There is hope in the

world when women join together working for world peace.

Other speakers explained the power of prayer from biblical foundation. Also confirming how

powerful prayer can be if one has faith and conviction. Indeed, the event highlighted the

strength of women of faith, the transformative power of prayers, the prayer of a woman and

its impact in the world and the importance of civic engagement in shaping our communities,

supporting the national leaders by prayers and encouraging women to take part in municipal

elections coming up in Finland.

This International Women’s Day event was more than a celebration—it was a call to action, a

moment of renewal, and a powerful testament to the strength and influence of women of

faith. May the inspiration from this gathering continue to ignite change in homes, churches,

and communities across Finland and beyond.
