WFWP Netherlands held their New Year’s Celebration in Amsterdam under the theme ‘Towards a Global Culture of Peace’:
We were joined by several ladies from the ‘Bond of Professional Women’ (BPWNL), which is also an NGO in consultative status with the UN. We had a lottery in aid of the global 1% love sharing initiative for North Korea, after watching a video about it ‘North Korea Through the Eyes of Witnesses’ (http://youtu.be/wM1sKwW_Ogk). We also showed a short video introducing the work of WFWP Int’l.
After a presentation by WFWP President Rita Salaris and some entertainment, we then shared and socialised over a beautiful Korean dinner. It was wonderful that the event was very actively supported by our young women.
