Courtesy Visit to the Catholic Archbishop of Malta His Exc. Mgr. Paul Cremona, OP: Wednesday 24th September, 2014 was a truly Historical Day for our WFWP Malta Chapter. A delegation from our organization including Committee members Marilen Milan and Elona Mule' Stagno , an associate member Ms Olive Zammit and myself together with Sarah Costo' and Althea Corlett representing Youth WFWP were present at a Courtesy visit to the Archbishop of Malta , His Exc. Mgr. Paul Cremona. We were welcomed at the Archbishop's private office at the Curia in Floriana Malta, where we sat with him around a table and were invited to talk about the work of WFWP. He asked about our roots, founders, beliefs and projects. We spent a full 50 minutes exchanging views on topics such as family, women's role in society, character education in today's world and Peace initiatives. We presented him with 'The Dignity of Women' and 'A Global Citizen'. He told us that in the late 1970's two young ladies had visited and given him the Divine Principle which he had read! It was then that I remembered that I was one of those two youths who had visited the then young novice at his monastery. Wow! No effort or service is ever wasted in God's Providence! We were impressed by the Archbishop's humble response and warm welcome. Towards the end of our visit, we could take a group photo with him to mark the wonderful and unforgettable event Please find below two photos from this event, Myrabelle Corlett Chairperson WFWP Malta
